Tanvi Anand

Tanvi Anand is an academic researcher at Antwerp Management School, part of the Smart Ecosystems and Networks team. Her research focuses on projects involving ecosystem strategies for societal transitions, such as climate resilience and also on entrepreneurship and how it can be developed and measured as a skill. Along with that, Tanvi has a strong focus on gender equality in business and leadership. Tanvi has contributed to several European and Flemish projects, including EICAA, Connected River, SAFARI, and Entrespiegel 3.0, addressing diverse societal and organizational challenges. Her recent thesis examined gendered decision-making in leadership, uncovering valuable insights into how gender influences organizational outcomes.

She actively integrates gender perspectives into her research, advocating for systemic changes to foster inclusivity and equity. In addition to her academic work, Tanvi is a member of her school’s diversity task force and co-founded StepOne, a nonprofit focused on developing student skills with an emphasis on gender inclusivity. In addition to that, she has been active on the European and International level by contributing to organizations like European Institute of Gender Equality and the World Economic Forum. Bringing her perspective as a young woman navigating traditionally male-dominated fields, Tanvi is committed to making gender equality a cornerstone of her research and advocacy.
