Jana Dvořáčková

Jana Dvořáčková works as an analyst at the Centre for Gender and Science at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, as a gender expert at the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and as an assistant professor in the Gender Studies programme at the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Masaryk University in Brno.

Her current work focuses on gender aspects of research funding, measures to promote gender equality in research funding organisations and the sociology of medicine, health and illness. Apart from her involvement in the GENDERACTIONplus project, she has contributed to various projects aimed at promoting gender equality in research environments and the gender dimension in research content, such as GEECCO, GE Academy, GENDER-NET Plus or UniSAFE.
