Anna Knapińska

Anna Knapińska – sociologist and science policy expert, working as an assistant professor at the National Information Processing Institute in Warsaw, Poland. Her scientific interests include the transformation of the Polish R&D sector and women’s participation in research, particularly STEM. In her work, she uses business intelligence tools to improve data quality and support science policy decisions. In the project GENDERACTIONplus she coordinates the implementation of a dashboard that contains interactive reports presenting statistics on women’s participation in the European R&D sector (https://genderaction-data-dashboard.opi.org.pl). For many years, she has been a statistical correspondent for Poland in the She Figures reports.
