Aldona Tomczyńska

Aldona Tomczyńska – assistant professor and data science team lead at the National Information Processing Institute in Warsaw, Poland, with a PhD in social sciences (with distinction) from the University of Warsaw. Specializing in international political economy, current research projects focus on data science, scientometrics, women in science, research and innovation, and higher education.
Involved in the Genderaction Plus project on women in science and responsible for developing the RAD-on portal (radon.nauka.gov.pl), which provides reliable data on science and higher education in Poland. In 2024, featured among the top 100 women in data science in Poland by the Perspektywy Education Foundation.
