Communities of Practice

Policy CoP

 

  • Consists of representatives of national authorities and supporting organisations appointed by them

 

  • Focuses primarily on the five thematic WP areas of intersectionality and inclusiveness; gender-based violence in academia; gender dimension in research, innovation and teaching; monitoring and evaluation of gender equality actions in the ERA; and advancing gender equality through gender equality plans

  • Consists of representatives of Research Funding Organisations and supporting organisations

 

  • Organized through working groups which will focus on key topics that will be identified through needs assessment

 

Impacts we want to achieve

  • Advance coordination of gender equality policy in research and innovation in the Member States and Associated Countries and through stakeholder and citizen engagement
  • Develop policy solutions to improve research careers and the working conditions in European research and innovation, specifically promoting institutional change through GEPs, combatting gender-based violence and promoting inclusive careers
  • Develop policy solutions to increase excellence and social responsibility of knowledge through the integration of the gender dimension in research, innovation and teaching
  • Overcome geographic inequalities in research and innovation in the area of gender equality policy by targeting the less experienced/engaged countries
